The fierce dragon 'Smaug' is back in The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies’ new poster and it seems as if it’s bitten off more than it can chew. Voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch it seems the evil fiery one will be going head-to-head with Bard the Bowman, played by Luke Evans, in the final instalment of Peter Jackson’s fantasy trilogy.
The first poster for The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies arrives just as fans await the launch of San Diego’s Comic-Con - where the first trailer of the movie is expected.
The image sees the evil dragon destroying J.R.R Tolkien's vulnerable settlement as just one man attempts to stand in his way. Have a look below:

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is an upcoming 2014 epic fantasy adventure film, directed by Peter Jackson and written by Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, and Guillermo del Toro. It will be the third and final installment in the three-part film adaptation based on The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien. It is preceded by An Unexpected Journey (2012) and The Desolation of Smaug (2013).
The film is produced by New Line Cinema, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and WingNut Films, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and is scheduled for release on 12 December 2014 in the United Kingdom and 17 December 2014 in the United States.
The film stars Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Ken Stott, James Nesbitt, Benedict Cumberbatch & Orlando Bloom.
Plot:
