USA Today has revealed the first official images from Walt Disney Animation Studios ‘Frozen’ follow-up, Frozen Fever.
The filmmakers who brought us the animated hit musical Frozen (2013) have created a seven-minute short centered around Princess Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell), Princess Elsa (Idina Menzel), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and the snowman Olaf (Josh Gad).
It’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but the birthday plans go awry when Elsa comes down with a cold and her powerful magic puts a chill on the big day.
Frozen Fever marks the first project reuniting the Oscar-winning original team from the animated hit, although recent reports have hinted that a full sequel may also be on the way. At this time, however, Disney has officially announced no such plans.
Cinderella, meanwhile, offers a live-action take on Disney’s animated classic with a cast that includes Lily James, Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett, Stellan Skarsgård, Derek Jacobi, Nonso Anozie, Holliday Grainger, Richard Madden and Sophie McShera.

‘Frozen Fever’ will show in theaters before Disney’s live-action Cinderella, in theaters on March 13.
