I am not sure if it is because there was so much build-up, or if it is because her outfit is a muddy brown that lacks any real wow factor. Or if it is just because I am still not overly convinced by the casting? And is it just me, or has Wonder Woman been dipping in Xena’s Warrior Princess’s wardrobe?
Anyways, checout the first look of the 'Wonder Woman' below:
In case you missed it, Snyder also revealed a new photo of Batman. Snyder has been using his Twitter account to get people excited about the upcoming Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman
A billionaire turned crime fighter for Gotham City. This is Affleck's second outing as a comic book superhero, the first being Daredevil in the 2003 film of the same name. Josh Brolin had been in discussions for the role prior to Affleck's casting.
Director Zack Snyder remarked on the casting, "Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry’s Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne." Affleck was initially reluctant to accept the part, saying, "I felt I didn't fit the traditional mold. But once Zack showed me the concept, and that it would be both different from the great movies that Chris and Christian made, but still in keeping with tradition, I was excited."
