THE EQUALIZER OFFICIAL TRAILER (2014) - DENZEL WASHINGTON

The wait is finally over, Sony pictures have just released a first official trailer of Antoine Fuqua's latest project 'The Equalizer'. The movie is an upcoming 2014 Action/Crime/Thriller directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk. The film is based on the television series of same name.
The movie stars Denzel Washington, Chloe Grace Moretz, Marton Csokas, Melissa Leo & Haley Bennett.

The movie is slated to release on 26th Sep, 2014.

Plot:

"A retired intelligence officer Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) turns into a vigilante for the helpless. Now he's making amend by using his skills to right wrongs for the persecuted by settling scores with their persecutors. When he decides to help a young hooker Teri (Chloe Grace Moretz), he gets heat from the Russian mafia, and in particular a brutal fixer (Marton Csokas)."

In June 2010 it was announced that Russell Crowe will be playing Robert McCall in The Equalizer. But later on in december 2011, it was reported that Denzel Washington is set to star in the title role of the film version, to be financed by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Escape Artists.
