The Water Diviner is an upcoming 2014 historical drama film directed by Russell Crowe and written by Andrew Anastasios and Andrew Knight. The film stars Russell Crowe, Olga Kurylenko, Jai Courtney, Cem Yılmaz and Yılmaz Erdoğan.

The official trailer for Russell Crowe's long awaited directorial debut 'The Water Diviner' is out now. The Water Diviner is generating even more buzz than usual, since the Gladiator star not only stars in the movie, but directed it too.
The official trailer released on Wednesday gives fans the first proper look at the film, which also stars French actress Olga Kurylenko, and Australian talents Jai Courtney, Isabel Lucas, Ryan Corr and Megan Gale.

The movie is described as an epic adventure set four years after the devastating battle of Gallipoli during World War I.
Crowe plays an Australian farmer called Joshua Connor, who travels to Istanbul to find out the fate of his sons who were reported missing in action.
