Paranoia is an American thriller film directed by Robert Luketic, with a screenplay written by Barry L. Levy and Jason Dean Hall, based on the 2004 novel of the same name by Joseph Finder, and starring Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman, Amber Heard and Harrison Ford.
The film was released on August 16, 2013 to universally negative reviews and bombed at the box office.
Plot:
''Adam Cassidy (Liam Hemsworth) is an ambitious but low-level employee at booming high-tech company Wyatt Telecom. After he is unfairly fired, Adam slyly diverts company funds to throw a huge going away party but is quickly caught by maverick CEO Nicolas Wyatt (Gary Oldman). Wyatt gives Adam a choice: go to prison for embezzlement, or become a spy in the headquarters of their chief competitor Trion Systems under rival CEO, industry elder-statesman Jack Goddard (Harrison Ford). Blackmailed into corporate espionage, Adam finds himself trapped in a world where nothing is as it seems and no one can be trusted, discovering just how far some executives will go to keep company secrets.''
