Black Mass (2015) Movie Trailer and Poster

Pictures., here's the full official trailer of Black Mass, the upcoming action crime drama movie directed by Scott Cooper and starring Johnny Depp, Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kevin Bacon, Dakota Johnson, Jesse Plemons, Corey Stoll, Rory Cochrane, Sienna Miller, Adam Scott, and David Harbour.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the story for this movie was inspired by Dick Lehr and Gerard O’Neill’s bestselling nonfiction title, Black Mass: Whitey Bulger, The FBI, and a Devil’s Deal.

Plot:
"In 1970s South Boston, FBI Agent John Connolly (Joel Edgerton) persuades Irish mobster James ‘Whitey’ Bulger (Johnny Depp) to collaborate with the FBI and eliminate a common enemy: the Italian mob. The drama tells the true story of this unholy alliance, which spiraled out of control, allowing Whitey to evade law enforcement, consolidate power, and become one of the most ruthless and powerful gangsters in Boston history."

TIME.com reports that the theatrical release date has been set for September 18th.
