Oscar winner actress (Witherspoon) herself tweeted this first poster for HOT PURSUIT starring Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara in their first buddy woman duo comedy-action movie, directed by Anne Fletcher.
Hot Pursuit was previously titled 'Don't Mess With Texas'. It also stars John Carroll Lynch, Rob Kazinsky, Richard T. Jones, Mike Birbiglia, and Jim Gaffigan.
Plot:
"An uptight and by-the-book cop (Reese Witherspoon) tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow (Sofia Vergara) of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen."
Witherspoon plays a Southern cop who must protect Vergara’s witness after killers target the mismatched pair. It’s a return to broad comedy for Witherspoon after serious turns in Wild and The Good Lie and also marks Vergara’s most high-profile film role to date. Watch the trailer below. The release date of Hot Pursuit is set to May 8, 2015.
