Gabbar Is Back was previously titled Main Gabbar! and it also stars Prakash Raj and is written by AR Murugadoss.
Plot:
"It will see Akshay playing the role of a local vigilante who decides to overthrow the corrupt by taking up law into his hands."
The film is being produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18. Gabbar Is Back will be an action film and stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead while Kareena Kapoor too has a cameo role.
Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Nikitin Dheer will appear in supporting roles with Kareena Kapoor in a cameo. The soundtrack and film score are composed by Chirantan Bhatt, Yo Yo Honey Singh.
