Watch the Official U.S release trailer for the upcoming japanese animated adventure movie 'The Last: Naruto the Movie', which is also the tenth overall Naruto film and the seventh Naruto Shippūden film, made to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the franchise.
This is also the first entry in the Start of a New Era Project[Jp. 2], and the first film to be an official part of the canon Naruto storyline, set during the timeskip that occurs in the last chapter of the manga series.
Plot:
The plot of the film concerns Naruto Uzumaki and his friends' efforts to defeat an adversary who is the last surviving member of an extraterrestrial clan seeking to make the moon crash down towards the Earth. In the process, Naruto awakens to the actual way that Hinata Hyūga feels for him and of his feelings towards her.
It premiered in theaters on December 6, 2014 and became the highest-grossing feature film in the franchise, earning ¥1.75 billion (US$14.76 million) by the end of 2014.
The Last Naruto is now scheduled to be released in the U.S on 20 February 2015.
