RoadsideFlix just debuted the first official movie clip of 'Mr. Holmes', the upcoming crime mystery drama movie starring Ian McKellen as Sherlock Holmes. The film is directed by Bill Condon:
Plot:
"Set in 1947, MR. HOLMES follows a long-retired Sherlock Holmes (Ian McKellen), who lives in a sleepy village outside of London with his housekeeper Mrs Munro (Laura Linney) and her amateur-sleuthing son (Milo Parker).
With his legendary mental powers on the wane and minus his sidekick Watson, Holmes becomes haunted by an unsolved case from 50 years ago where he remembers only fragments: a confrontation with an angry husband and a secret bond with his beautiful but unstable wife."
Mr. Holmes also stars Milo Parker, Laura Linney, Hattie Morahan, Patrick Kennedy and Hiroyuki Sanada.
