Yet another take on the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale is heading our way, and this time it’s a witchy "versus" from The Asylum.
The film, directed by Ben Demaree (Apocalypse Pompeii) and written by Jose Prendes (The Divine Tragedies), stars Brent Lydic and Aqueela Zoll. Producers include David Michael Latt, David Rimawi, and Paul Bales.

Plot:
"When Gretel falls under a dark spell and organizes a coven of witches, Hansel must find the courage to fight his twin sister and the sinister forces controlling her."
Hansel vs. Gretel will be released on DVD on January 20, 2015, with special features set to include a featurette, gag reel, and trailers.
