The first look poster of Bombay Velvet sees the makers unveiling Ranbir Kapoor in a completely new avatar of a gun-totting action hero! An Anurag Kashyap directorial that releases on May 15, Bombay Velvet is a romantic thriller set in the 60′s and it will see Ranbir pull off several action sequences.

It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles with Kay Kay Menon, Siddharth Basu and Manish Choudhary appearing in supporting roles.
The makers of Bombay Velvet, Fox Star Studios and Phantom Films unveiled a teaser photo earlier this week to build excitement around the first poster of the movie. Checkout Ranbir's sweaty, rugged avatar as 'Johnny Balraj' below!
The film revolves around the character of Johnny, who desires to be a Big Shot in life and falls head-over-heels in love with Rosie, a singer. Rosie is being played by Anushka Sharma. Bombay Velvet has been directed by Anurag Kashyap.
The film is scheduled to release on May 15, 2015.
