Exodus: Gods and Kings is an upcoming 2014 drama/biblical film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Steven Zaillian. The film stars Christian Bale, Joel Edgerton, Aaron Paul, Ben Kingsley and Sigourney Weaver. It is an interpretation of the exodus of the Jews from Egypt as led by Moses and related in the Bible book of Exodus. Exodus is a Biblical epic based on the life and times of Moses. Christian Bale will be headlining Scott’s film as the prophet (featured in the Book of Exodus) Moses...meanwhile, Joe Edgerton has been cast as the adopted brother-turned bitter rival, the Egyptian ruler Ramses.

Exodus will hit the theatres on 12th December, 2014.
