Blackhat (earlier titled Cyber) is an upcoming 2015 action thriller film written, directed and produced by Michael Mann. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Viola Davis, Holt McCallany, Tang Wei and Leehom Wang.
It is set for release on January 16, 2015.
Plot:
"A man is released from prison to help American and Chinese authorities pursue a mysterious cyber criminal. The dangerous search leads them from Chicago to Hong Kong.
The film's lead actor, Chris Hemsworth described it as a "sort of cat-and-mouse international heist-thriller."

Set within the world of global cybercrime, Blackhat follows a furloughed convict and his American and Chinese partners as they hunt a high-level cybercrime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta. Along with Hemsworth and Davis, the film co-stars Tang Wei, Holt McCallany and Wang Leehom and is set to hit theaters on January 16.
