Into the Woods (2014) New Poster

An eye-grabbing new promotional poster for Disney's hotly anticipated big screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's fairy tale-themed musical INTO THE WOODS has now been released.

The official description of INTO THE WOODS is as follows: "Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy) - all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife (James Corden & Emily Blunt), their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch (Meryl Streep) who has put a curse on them.

Into the Woods is an upcoming 2014 musical fantasy film directed by Rob Marshall. The film is based on the Broadway musical of the same name by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim. It is starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Johnny Depp, and Lilla Crawford. The film is a fantasy genre crossover centered on a childless couple, who set out to end a curse placed on them by a vengeful witch. Into the woods is produced by Walt Disney Pictures and the film will be released on December 25, 2014.
