Interstellar (2014) is a highly anticipated upcoming sci-fi film from acclaimed director Christopher Nolan (Inception, The Dark Knight Trilogy). The film is mainly based on the scientific theories and script treatment of renowned theoretical physicist, Kip Thorne & it features a team of space travelers who travel through a wormhole.
Interstellar is set to be released on November 7, 2014.
Plot:
"A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage."

Nolan and Emma Thomas are producing with Lynda Obst, and Jordan Goldberg is exec producing. Obst commissioned the original treatment and Steven Spielberg came aboard in 2006. Spielberg set Jonah Nolan to write the script, which made it easy for Christopher Nolan to come aboard after Spielberg left the project. The ambition is that Interstellar will depict a heroic voyage to the farthest borders of our scientific understanding.
Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine.
