Fifty Shades of Grey is an upcoming American erotic/romantic/drama film directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson with a screenplay by Kelly Marcel, Patrick Marber, and Mark Bomback, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by E. L. James.
The film stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia "Ana" Steele, Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, Eloise Mumford as Katherine "Kate" Kavanagh, Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey & Rita Ora as Mia Grey. The total production budget of the movie is about $40 million.
It is set to be released on February 13, 2015 by Michael De Luca Productions, Trigger Street Productions, Focus Features and Universal Pictures.
