Exclusive Trailer for Antonio Bandera's Sci-Fi-Thriller "Automata"

Automata is an upcoming Sci-fi thriller film directed by Gabe Ibáñez and co-written with Igor Legarreta and Javier Sánchez Donate. The film stars Antonio Banderas, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Melanie Griffith, Dylan McDermott, Robert Forster and Tim McInnerny.

Automata will hit the theaters on 10 October 2014 on a limited release.

Plot:

"Automata is an epic futuristic vision of a human civilization finally overtaken by artificial intelligence, as the Earth’s ecosystem verges on collapse. It tracks an insurance agent for robotics corp. ROC, who investigates a seemingly routine case of robot manipulation.

Jacq Vaucan, an insurance agent of ROC robotics corporation, routinely investigates the case of manipulating a robot. What he discovers will have profound consequences for the future of humanity"

The Production Companies behind the movie are Green Moon, Millennium Films & New Boyana Film Studios.
