Michael Pena will play the tank's driver, a butcher who always is drunk -- having vowed never to go into combat sober. Brad Pitt plays a battle-hardened sergeant named Wardaddy.
The film will feature the last surviving working Tiger tank (Tiger 131) belonging to Bovington Tank Museum. This will be the first time that this tank has been used on a film set.
FURY - WAR NEVER ENDS QUIETLY
This film follows Brad Pitt’s character, Wardaddy, as he leads a hardened tank crew, plus one newbie, on a secret mission to go behind enemy lines. The action looks to be chaotic and tense, but don’t expect a long series of adrenaline-fueled battles. They’ll definitely come, but as per this brand new footage, there will be a whole lot of drama, philosophizing and overwhelmed, resolute Brad Pitt faces too. With the war nearly over and most of his platoon dead, the battle-weary sergeant must lead his remaining soldiers on their most dangerous mission yet.
Even when he’s beaten down and frustrated, that man is more handsome than anyone you know. Plus, he's got every right to be making that face. Telling naive, optimistic kids to run people over on a battlefield is miserable, emotionally crippling work. It takes a sociopath to handle that with complete calm.

Ayer also promises that audiences will see 'a very different Brad Pitt', which is evident in the clip. The handsome leading man has scars on his face and carries himself like a boxer in the last round of a fight, as he spits out lines like, “The dying’s not done. The killing’s not done.” The film looks harrowing, and actor Bernthal has confirmed as much, calling it "one of the darkest war movies ever made."
We’ve seen Brad Pitt kill Nazis before in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. Now, we’re gonna see him again in the midst of World War II, thanks to David Ayer’s Fury. Count me in for it... 100%
The total production budget of the movie is $ 80 million.
