Stonehearst Asylum, previously known as Eliza Graves, is an upcoming American thriller film directed by Brad Anderson and written by Joseph Gangemi, based on the short story "The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether" by Edgar Allan Poe. 

The film stars Kate Beckinsale, Jim Sturgess, Michael Caine, Ben Kingsley, David Thewlis and Brendan Gleeson. 

The film will be released on October 24, 2014 and will be distributed by distributed by Millenium Films.

PLOT:

"A beautiful girl named Eliza gets a job in a psychiatric hospital. On a normal day of work she becomes aware of the disappearance of one of the doctors. Eliza discovers that he was kidnapped by some of the hospital patients, and realizes that soon the whole building is going to be captured by them."
