Description:
Transformers: Age of Extinction is an upcoming 2014 American science fiction & action film based on the Transformers toy line. It is the fourth installment of the live-action Transformers film series starring Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor and Kelsey Grammer. The film is a sequel to Transformers: Dark of the Moon, taking place four years after the invasion of Chicago. Like its predecessors, the film will be directed by Michael Bay and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. This is the first film in the series to not have Shia LaBeouf and also the first to feature an entirely new cast with the only returning Transformers revealed so far are Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The film is set for release on June 27, 2014, in both 2D & 3D formats.
Plot:
"A mechanic (Mark Wahlberg) and his daughter (Nicola Peltz) make a discovery that brings down Autobots and Decepticons and a paranoid government official on them. Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs."

Last week, Michael Bay was said to have "apologised" for the previous instalments in the Transformers franchise, with a report quoting the director as stating that: "I wanted the first Transformers to be very suburban and less cool. This is a much more cinematic one. I focused on keeping this one slick. There won’t be any goofiness in this one. We went a bit too goofy [on Transformers: Dark of the Moon]." However, according to the man himself, his quotes were taken out of context and he's now taken the opportunity to set the record straight, as well as announcing that filming has wrapped on the fourth instalment, Transformers: Age of Extinction...

New Transformers first movie trailer to release in February 2014. Recently, Transformers director, Michael Bay, hit up his official site to clear up some miscommunication about some things he said about the new "Transformers 4: Age Of Extinction" hardcore action flick. And in doing so, he also revealed when we can expect to see the very first movie trailer! It turns out that it's going to release during the Super Bowl 2014 on February 2nd,2014, and they're also going to drop another teaser clip after that! Michael stated: "So that brings me to letting Transformers fans know that we have completed our five and half month shoot. We got back from a month long shoot in China. My crew and I had a fantastic time shooting in Hong Kong and Mainland China. It was an amazing experience, and I love the country. My cast was absolutely fantastic.
